Tallulah? in Avalanche and Action!

If you happen to live or be holidaying in Edinburgh or Preston, did you know you can now support your local independent record shop and line my gaunt coffers by buying Tallulah? from two iconic and long-running establishments: Avalanche Records and Action Records.
Avalanche in Edinburgh has just moved from their tiny cobbled home on Cockburn Street to the vibrant musical hub of the Grassmarket (see related interview with owner Kevin Buckle here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/edinburgh/2010/oct/05/edinburgh-avalanche-moving-to-grassmarket)
Action Records is where it's been for the past 30 years on Church Street in Preston.

Go FORTH! x

Launch Party

Wot with starting a new job in Workington, Cumbria, there's been no mention on these pages about the release party for my single that happened a week last Friday. Taking place in a crammed Music Spot, a good time was hopefully had by all, a lot of booze was drunk with portable barmaid Andy Paylor dishing out some generous measures, plus there was music from Paul Rhodes, Ponies and myself. and free Haribo. check out the pics.

Trip to London

Got back from my trip to play the Good Ship in Kilburn yesterday. London is always a hoot and now turning into a bi-annual affair, every time i visit at least six more people I knew from school seem to now be living there so it is nice to catch up with people. I'm sure I bored everyone rigid moaning about how long it takes to travel 5 miles in one of the world's greatest cities, but I'm back where I belong now, feeding whippets, riding penny-farthings and marvelling at the impressive collection of dirty black London bogies I managed to cultivate on such a whistle-stop trip.
